INTERNATIONAL SPORTS HALL OF FAME
SPORTSHOF'S MISSION
The International Sports Hall of Fame, a 501(c) Non-Profit Foundation, was established to honor the world's greatest athlete legends across all sports. This global organization believes recognizing these remarkable individuals should extend well beyond their active careers.
The Hall of Fame not only celebrates their athletic achievements but also emphasizes their post-career contributions to society. Inductees are recognized for their charitable endeavors and their dedication to mentoring young people.
The induction ceremonies take place annually in March at the Arnold Schwarzenegger Sports Festival, the world's largest annual sports weekend. This festival attracts over 175,000 attendees and showcases over 18,000 competing athletes.
“As a kid I always idolized the winning athletes. It is one thing to idolize heroes. It is quite another to visualize yourself in their place. When I saw great people, I said to myself: I can be there.”
– Arnold Schwarzenegger
