Jim Plunkett was an American football quarterback whose 16-season NFL career culminated in leading the Raiders to two Super Bowl victories. He also played for the New England Patriots and San Francisco 49ers. His numerous awards include two Super Bowl championships, Super Bowl MVP, NFL Comeback Player of the Year, and the prestigious Heisman Trophy. Plunkett's achievements have earned him a place in the California Sports Hall of Fame.
